A man was shot early Wednesday in the South Chicago neighborhood.

At 12:38 a.m., the 19-year-old was playing dice in a basement in the 8400 block of South Kingston when someone opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the left leg and taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
