A 23-year-old man was shot in the shoulder early Saturday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

He showed up at Stroger Hospital about 3 a.m. and said he’d been wounded while walking down the 5000 block of West Madison, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized, police said. No one was in custody.
