A man was stabbed and critically wounded early Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 48-year-old was inside a home in the 11500 block of South Justine when he answered the door about 4 a.m. and a 46-year-old man stabbed him in the chest and back, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

A police source said the stabbing may have stemmed from a domestic fight.

Police initially said charges were pending against a suspect, but as of Tuesday morning no arrests had been made and no charges had been filed.
