A man who was wanted for an armed robbery in southwest suburban Oswego has been arrested in Arizona.

Deputies responded to a robbery at the Oswego Food Mart at 100 Light Rd. in unincorporated Oswego about 1:30 p.m. April 23, according to a statement from the Kendall County sheriff’s office.

A man armed with a handgun had pointed it at employees and taken cash, according to police.

The sheriff’s office posted surveillance photos of the suspect on their Facebook page and within one day, investigators received information identifying him. Numerous tips were also sent to Kendall County Crime Stoppers.

An arrest warrant was issued for 36-year-old Timothy Wisnauski of Carpentersville, according to the statement.

On Monday, Wisnauski was arrested in Peoria, Arizona, by the U.S. Marshal Service Task Force, according to the statement. He was charged with armed robbery.
