A man was wounded in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting early Monday on the West Side.

The 35-year-old was standing on a porch about 12:30 a.m. in the 900 block of North Massasoit, when a silver Trailblazer drove past and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
