A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood Monday night.

The 35-year-old was in a vehicle in the 4900 block of West Superior about 8:50 p.m. when another male walked up and shot him in the right arm, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
