A man was shot Wednesday evening in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The 25-year-old was standing behind a parked vehicle about 10:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Prairie when someone in a silver Lexus car fired shots, according to Chicago Police. He was shot in the left leg.

He took himself to Mercy Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
