A man was wounded in an East Garfield Park neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the West Side.

The 28-year-old was walking about 1:45 a.m. in the 700 block of North Ridgeway when gunfire erupted and he was shot in the lower right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He walked into Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
