A man was wounded in a shooting Monday night in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the ankle at 10:34 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Ridgeway, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

Police said the man would not provide investigators with further details about the shooting.
