A man was wounded in a Logan Square neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the Northwest Side.

The 29-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 4:24 a.m. in the 2900 block of North Sawyer when another male in a black vehicle nearby opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to both ankles and later showed up at Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
