A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting early Sunday in the South Side Park Manor neighborhood.

The 29-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 12:27 a.m. in the 7100 block of South State Street when someone in a gray car opened fire, striking him in the left thigh, abdomen and buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
