At 10:41 p.m., the 20-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 11100 block of South Union when another male walked up and fired shots, striking him in the neck, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
