A man was shot in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old man was walking in the 4700 block of North Racine about 9:30 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his eye, police said. His condition stabilized.
