A man was shot to death Monday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Officers found 24-year-old Kentrail McCray lying in the street in the 1600 block of South Kedzie at 9:22 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

McCray, of of the 1600 block of South Spaulding, had gunshot wounds to the back and buttocks, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died at 10:17 p.m., according to authorities.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
