A pedestrian died after being struck by two vehicles Tuesday night in north suburban Beach Park.

The male was crossing Sheridan Road from the west to the east side near Beach Road at 7:26 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound Chrysler, then a northbound Chevrolet, according to Lake County sheriff’s spokesman Christopher Covelli. His name and age have not been released.

Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation, Covelli said.
