A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that had rolled over after a crash Thursday afternoon in the River North neighborhood.

The crash happened at 12:30 p.m. at Grand and LaSalle, according to Fire Media Affairs.

A BMW struck another car, which rolled over and struck a pedestrian, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said.

The pedestrian was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, Langford said.

The airbag deployed in the car that flipped over and the occupants were able to crawl out, Langford said. They were not hurt.
