A person was hospitalized after a boating accident Tuesday night in the “Playpen” area of Lake Michigan.

The two-boat accident happened at 9:28 p.m. near Ohio Street Beach, according to Fire Media Affairs.

One person was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to Fire Media. Their age and condition were not released.

No citations were issued, police said.
