A man was shot Saturday morning in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The 18-year-old was sitting on a park bench at 11:17 a.m. in the 8100 block of South Phillips when two males walked up and fired shots, grazing his right wrist, according to Chicago Police.

The man took himself to South Shore Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.

Police originally reported that the shooting happened in the 8000 block of South Crandon.
