Person shot in Bronzeville

A person was shot Thursday afternoon in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The male, whose age wasn’t known, was shot in the back and chest about 4:45 p.m. in the 3600 block of South Giles, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in an unknown condition, police said.
