A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

About 10:15 p.m., the men, both 21 years old, were walking in the 1100 block of East 73rd Street when another male exited a black car nearby and opened fire, police said.

Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

One of the men, identified as Joshua Moore, was shot multiple times in the chest and pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 6400 block of South Ellis.

The other man was shot in the left leg. His condition wasn’t known.
