Police are warning businesses about an armed robber who has struck at a store in the West Side Austin neighborhood four times throughout May.

In each incident, the suspect walked into the store, showed a silver revolver and demanded money from the cash register, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The store, located in the 200 block of South Cicero, was robbed at 12:40 a.m. May 12; at 12:30 a.m. May 18; at 4:10 a.m. May 22; and at 2:04 a.m. May 26, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 35 and 45 years old, standing between 5-feet-2 and 5-feet-8, police said. He was armed with a silver or chrome revolver.
