A man robbed a business Wednesday morning in northwest suburban Park Ridge.

About 6:40 a.m., the man entered a store in the 900 block of Northwest Highway, implied he had a gun, and demanded the employee give him money from the register, according to a statement from Park Ridge police.

The employee gave the man an undetermined amount of cash, and he ran away south on Rowe, police said.

The suspect was described as a white man between 20 and 30 with a clean-shaven face, police said. He was wearing a gray stocking cap, black hoodie, gray athletic pants and black shoes; and was carrying a gray satchel.

Anyone with information should call Park Ridge police at (847) 318-5252.
