A 21-year-old man who was shot died Sunday evening after he took himself to an Englewood neighborhood hospital on the South Side.

Otis Richmond showed up at St. Bernard Hospital at 326 W. 64th St. at 6:50 p.m. and was pronounced dead at 7:08 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 5200 block of West Harrison.

Police said he was shot in the abdomen, but did not know when or where the shooting occurred. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
