Two businesses were burglarized Saturday in Dunning on the Northwest Side.

In both burglaries, someone smashed the front glass door of the businesses to get inside and take property, according to a business alert from the police.

The burglaries happened between 1:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. in the 3700 block of North Harlem Avenue and between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. in the 7400 block of West Irving Park Road, police said.
