Police are warning residents of a recent string of home burglaries in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

In each incident, burglars broke in through a back door or garage door and stole property from inside the home, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 1 p.m. June 9 in the 6600 block of South Fairfield;
  • about 4 p.m. June 16 in the 3000 block of West Marquette;
  • about 1:30 a.m. June 19 in the 2800 block of West 66th Street;
  • about 6 a.m. June 20 in the 3300 block of West 65th Street;
  • about 1 p.m. June 20 in the 2600 block of West Marquette; and
  • about 9 a.m. June 21 in the 6600 block of South Rockwell.
