Construction work will require Howard-bound Red Line trains to run express from Sheridan to Howard during the weekend, according to Chicago Transit Authority.

The work will begin 11 p.m. Friday and continue until 2 a.m. Monday morning. Construction crews will work on the track as part of the Wilson Station Reconstruction project, the CTA said.

Howard-bound customers at bypassed stations will need to take a 95th-bound train to Sheridan and then transfer to a Howard-bound train. For alternate service through the affected area, use the #22 Clark, #36 Broadway, #147 Outer Drive Express or #151 Sheridan bus routes, the CTA said.
