Metra has completed a rehabilitation of the 111th Street/Pullman Station on the Electric line in the Far South Side Pullman neighborhood.

A new warming house was painted in the colors of a historic Pullman train car to commemorate the neighborhood’s historical significance, Metra said. Also completed was a replacement of platform deck boards, the removal of an unused portion of the platform, a replacement stairway, new LED lights and an electronic device charging station.

The $250,000 project began in June.
