A northwest suburban man has been charged with barricading himself and two others in a Jefferson Park neighborhood store for more than three hours Saturday evening on the Northwest Side.

Antonio Camacho, 39, faces two counts of aggravated unlawful restraint and one count of robbery armed with a dangerous weapon, all felonies, according to Chicago Police.

Emergency crews responded about 9:30 p.m. to the 4800 block of North Milwaukee, police said. A SWAT team was called to assist after a man barricaded himself in a store with two other people.

About 1 a.m., SWAT entered the building and arrested the suspect without incident, police said. The two people being held inside were not injured.

Camacho, who lives in the 100 block of Meadowdale Court in Carpentersville, was scheduled to appear in bond court Monday.
