Three burglaries were reported Thursday in the Southwest Side Bridgeport neighborhood.

Burglars entered residences and took or defaced property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The incidents happened in the morning in the 3600 block of South Emerald Avenue and the 3600 block of South Lowe Avenue; and in the afternoon 3600 South Union Avenue, police said.
