Three people were seriously hurt in a crash Monday afternoon in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The head-on crash between a medical transport vehicle and a car happened at Austin and Berteau at 12:05 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

Two people in serious-to-critical condition were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, and another person in serious-to-critical condition was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to fire media.

Chicago Police could not immediately provide information about the crash.
