Two stores have been robbed at gunpoint in the last month in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

Three armed men entered the stores, pulled out firearms and robbed them, according to a community alert from Area South detectives.

The robberies happened at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 7200 block of South Wentworth; and at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 7400 block of South Vincennes, police said.
