A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot early Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Just before 2 a.m., they were walking southbound in the 6300 block of South Artesian when they heard gunshots, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was shot in the buttocks and the man in the left leg. They were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were stabilized, police said.
