Two shot in Parkway Gardens

Two people were wounded, one critically, in a shooting Sunday evening in the South Side Parkway Gardens neighborhood.

The 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old man heard shots and felt pain at 5:41 p.m. in the 6300 block of South King Drive, Chicago Police said.

The 17-year-old was struck in the neck and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said. The older man was shot in the left forearm and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
