A man robbed a TCF Bank branch inside a Jewel-Osco store Thursday afternoon on the North Side.

It happened at 3:40 p.m. at 4250 N. Lincoln Ave., according to the FBI, which described the robber as black, in his 20s, about 6-feet tall and 130 pounds, wearing a black wig and sunglasses over a black hooded sweatshirt with red sleeves, dark jeans and gray shoes. He didn’t show a weapon, authorities said.

The FBI is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Tips can be left at (312) 421-6700.

According to the FBI, 175 banks have been robbed in the Chicago area this year, up from 114 last year.
