An 18-year-old woman was critically injured in an Austin neighborhood stabbing Friday afternoon on the West Side.

About 3:30 p.m. in the first block of North Laramie, the woman got into a fight with someone who pulled a knife and stabbed her in the chest, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody Friday night.
