A woman was shot early Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 5 a.m., the 28-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle driving in the 3500 block of West Walnut when she heard gunfire and realized she’d been shot in the back, according to Chicago Police.

The driver took her to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in good condition, police said.
