A 31-year-old woman was shot Saturday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 10:45 p.m., the woman was standing in the 500 block of North Sawyer Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
