Woman shot in North Lawndale

A woman was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

The 30-year-old was on a porch in the 1100 block of South Sacramento about 4:50 a.m. when a female walked up and shot her in the foot, police said.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

A man was shot about a block away earlier in the night.
