Woman shot in West Pullman

A woman was shot in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side Monday night.

The 22-year-old was riding in a vehicle about 9:05 p.m. when she drove past a group of males standing in the 300 block of East 116th, police said. She then heard gunshots and realized she was shot in the head, police said.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition stabilized, police said.
