Woman shot on Near West Side

A 34-year-old woman was shot in the left hip Thursday night on the Near West Side, according to Chicago Police.

About 9:20 p.m., she was outside in the 2200 block of West Van Buren when she heard shots and felt pain, police said.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
