A woman was shot in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side late Thursday.

The 18-year-old was walking in the 3000 block of North Kostner about 11:19 p.m. when a male in a passing white sedan shot her in the left forearm, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition stabilized, police said.
