With the Bears’ Week 1 matchup against Texans just days away, coach John Fox said that there was no injury report on Monday. Technically, Fox doesn’t have to provide injury updates until Wednesday.

But right guard Kyle Long (shoulder), cornerback Tracy Porter (concussion), linebacker Danny Trevathan (hamstring), cornerback Kyle Fuller (knee), cornerback Bryce Callahan (hamstring) and returner Deonte Thompson (ankle) were taking part in practice during the portion that is open to the media.

Fox was specifically asked about Long, Porter and the secondary.

“[Long] was out at practice today and they’ve got [Tuesday] off,” Fox said. “We’ll know more about the next time we come out on Wednesday.”

Has Porter been cleared of his concussion?

“He practiced today,” Fox said.

Defensive backs getting better?

“Yeah, I think we had everybody out there in some capacity,” Fox said. “We’ll have a better idea Wednesday when we give out our injury report.”
