Veteran kicker Connor Barth, who was cut Saturday by the Saints, will come to Halas Hall to take Robbie Gould’s place, sources told the Sun-Times late Sunday.

Barth has been cut twice this year — first when the Buccaneers decided to draft Roberto Aguayo, and then, Saturday, when the Saints decided to keep Kai Forbath instead of the 30-year-old.

In 12 games for the Bucs last year, he made 23-of-28 kicks, going 3-for-5 from 50-yards-plus and 3-for-6 from 40-49 yards.

Barth kicked for the Chiefs in 2008, and the Bucs from 2009-12. In 2014, he made 15-of-16 attempts over five games while kicking for John Fox’s Broncos.
