The big blue catfish just keep coming from LaSalle Lake, the cooling lake south of Seneca, even with the hot water recently.

Frankie “Cat Daddy’’ Smith, of Chicago’s South Side, (top photo) was nominated by his nephew Don Brengettsy for multiple big blues caught this month at LaSalle, including a 41-pounder.

Then Odell Smith of Plainfield (left) came through with his own big blue on Sunday on when he noticed shad close to the shore.
