Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane cheered loudly at Bears game

SHARE Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane cheered loudly at Bears game

Despite being under investigation on suspicion of sexual assault, Blackhawks star Patrick Kane received perhaps the loudest ovation from Bears fans on Sunday.

He and his teammates were honored before the game and brought the Stanley Cup to the 50-yard line of Soldier Field. Jonathan Toews, Corey Crawford, Brent Seabrook and Andrew Shaw were among the players on hand.

Minutes before the start of the game, Kane threw a pass to Toews. The players — wearing Bears jerseys with their numbers on them — then tried to kick a field goal. Kane attempted a field goal — Toews was the holder — that almost hit a camera man off to his left.
