When reports surfaced a few days ago that Dexter Fowler had signed with the Orioles, the center fielder became a forgotten name in Cubdom.

That all changed on Thursday morning in Mesa, Ariz., when Fowler strolled onto the field at Spring Training in his street clothes and announced his return to his teammates.
