The Bears have so many injured players, they had to redesign John Fox’s list.

“We had to change the font on our injury report, actually,” the Bears coach said. “Smallen it up.”

Five starters missed practice Wednesday, highlighted by quarterback Jay Cutler (right shoulder), Pro Bowl left guard Josh Sitton (right ankle) and rookie outside linebacker Leonard Floyd, who was still in concussion protocol three days after being placed on a backboard at Met Life Stadium.

Receiver Eddie Royal (toe), cornerback Cre’Von LeBlanc (concussion), running back Jeremy Langford (illness) and linebacker Christian Jones (ankle/back) did not practice.

Ten were limited: right tackles Bobby Massie (concussion) and Mike Adams (biceps); defensive linemen Eddie Goldman (ankle) and Mitch Unrein (back); outside linebackers Willie Young (ankle) and Pernell McPhee (knee); cornerbacks Sherrick McManis (neck), Tracy Porter (knee) and Demontre Hurst (knee); and receiver Marquess Wilson (foot).

Massie, who is still progressing from his concussion, said it was good to make steps.

“It sucks sitting back and knowing you can’t do anything to help your team,” he said.
