The Cardinals reportedly have agreed to a contract with Cubs free-agent center fielder Dexter Fowler. The deal is believed to be for five years and is in the $80-90 million range, according to Jon Heyman. Fower is in St. Louis to take a physical tomorrow. Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Cardinals made an “over-the-top offer” to ensure they would land Fowler.
