FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Tight end Zach Miller and inside linebacker Danny Trevathan did not play in Thursday’s game against the Patriots.

Miller and Trevathan did not stretch before the game. The tight end first went into the NFL’s concussion protocol Aug. 1 and missed practice Tuesday with a doctor’s appointment. Trevathan, who was nursing a knee injury, missed Tuesday’s practice and Wednesday’s walkthrough. Coach John Fox insisted Tuesday it was regular rest.

Other Bears who missed the game: wide receiver Derek Keaton (leg), wide receiver Eddie Royal (concussion), cornerback Kyle Fuller (knee), running back Ka’Deem Carey (concussion), cornerback Bryce Callahan (Fox called it a “muscle strain”), linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski (hamstring), tight end Ben Braunecker (ankle) and defensive end Cornelius Washington (knee/ankle).
