DePaul’s women’s team clinched at least a share of the Big East regular season title Saturday with an 80-65 victory against St. John’s in New York.

The Blue Demons (23-6, 14-3) were led by Brittany Hrynko, who scored 21 points in the team’s 13th victory in the last 14 games.

The Blue Demons could win the Big East title outright and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament next week with a victory over Georgetown on Monday or a loss by Creighton in one of its remaining two games.

DePaul will host the Big East women’s tournament next weekend. The first-round play-in games will be played on campus at McGrath Arena on March 8. The tournament moves to Allstate Arena on March 9-11.
